1. Bakaitis.com has a perfect post chronicling his vacation. I felt like I was there. Thanks Matt for the mental vacation!
2. I talk about Future Cave Paintings a lot. The guy is a scream. He should be making what Schultz makes. Anyway, his perfect post is a picture, as usual, that he created on a computer: Twisted Sister Playing Twister
3. Jessica the Rock Chick went to a Bon Jovi concert. My wife is so jealous. Experience it vicariously through her, as always, well-written post.
4. Tim at MTA looks at odd names and their origins. I added my comment about my grandparents: “Tha” and “Fannie.”
5. Nick Mercer at Oubipaws discusses his goals on the brink of his 21st birthday. This blog has an exciting new feel and direction: LIFE AND HOW TO LIVE IT!!!! And random posts on various topics in this personal blog of a cool dude and professional “geek.”
6. One of the most vitriolic amalgamy of heated words is featured on a Doc Searls Weblog post this week. It’s entertaining, and this guy’s blog is one of my favorite reads lately.
7. I’ve been checking out high ranked personal blogs lately and I found Shadowscope a couple weeks back. I’ve been popping my head in here and there and have read some cool stuff at this blog. The writer is “a full-time district manager of three 24 hour full service restaurant/diners and basically a full-time blogger as well.” No one post to highlight, but everything I read I enjoy and I plan to keep reading Shadowscope.
