Amy Palko’s Several Breathtaking “Paths”

Amy Palko had a goregeous set of pictures that belie their ordinary subject: paths. The post reminded me of Ansel Adams and Robert Frost all at once. Go over and leave her a comment, photo work like this should be praised.

Thank you, Damien!  I was really pleased with how the photos turned out, but the fact that someone else liked them enough to post about them too is really special.  Hope you have a lovely evening bringing in the new year, and that 2008 brings you lots of laughter, love and joy.

Well, we’ve been reading Tolkein’s Fellowship of the Ring so that tonight the kids finally get to watch the movie.  They’ve been so desperate to see it, so there is much excitement in chez palko at the moment! Later, for the bells we’ll probably put on some music and dance, and then we’ll watch the fireworks on the TV.  Maybe in a few years we’ll go out to celebrate Hogmanay, but until then we’ll just have our own wee party :-)  I hope you have a fabulous time whatever you decide to do!

You’re right … those are gorgeous.  A few of them in particular, but it’s fascinating to see the collection together.
