How much is 100 billion dollars? It’s abstract. Here’s a few signposts toward understanding:
Every 8 hours and 20 minutes, the U.S. Government spends another billion dollars. (Thank us very much.) A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, let’s put a billion into perspective. A billion seconds ago, it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago, our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.Of course, the current public debt is well over $7 Trillion dollars.
