I don’t think it’s a complete replacement for meds or therapy if you really have a problem with depression, but it most definitely helps!!! I know some people think of exercise as working out in a gym (boring!) or running (no thanks!) but I always do dancing. It’s a workout, trust me! Whether I’m in bellydancing class or jumping up and down to "We’re Not Gonna Take It" in a bar listening to a local cover band, I ALWAYS feel uplifted afterwards!Jessica

Right, it doesn’t cure actual clinical depression but exercise reduces stress and increases mental health. It also makes your brain faster and may slow the reduction in brain power due to aging.

Yeah, meds are an amazing miracle of science.  However, I always feel a lift when I get up and even just walk for 40 minutes or so.  It can change the whole world.
