I don't know but I am bilingual and I know sometimes I stress trying to think of what to say next in Spanish (and how to say it) and that is not good listening. It's better to just let the resposes come naturally. For me anyway. Thanks for stopping by :)

In langauge, I encourage listen first, speak more, read later.....sometimes, I forget to listen too because I am trilingual and think other people can do the same. I realise after teaching so many students and kids, I can only think and listen one language at a time; it is a habit for me to listen and translate in different languages instantly. Is that good listening?

Annies last blog post..How Is Language Learnt?

@BD: Point well taken. I know of at least two off the top of my head who read this blog and they and theirs are so appreciated. I'm been a blabbermouth for years and I am trying to change.

There are many people who listen. Some people are so introspective that they are lost in themselves. I think the talkers forget about the listeners - but they are there.

I agree that people need to spend more time listening. Many times, people don't listen and only hear what they think you said!

It goes back to the two ears one tongue phrase!

Nicks last blog post..10,000 Spam Comments - A Milestone
