Pictures from the Jack O’Connell Visit

I just got these pictures today. For those new to my blog: I am a teacher and I was honored on October 17th to have my classroom visited by Jack OConnell, California State Superintendent of Education, Herb Fischer, San Bernardino County Superintendent, Chris Van Zee, Adelanto School District Superintendent, my Principal Karen Redfield, HR People, reporters and camerapeople from the Victorville Daily Press, and other esteemed guests. I gave a lesson to my 4th graders on the standard of cause and effect in reading. These are pictures from the lesson. Thank you to Dave Duensing for taking the pictures.

Congratulations on the recognition you received for your work in the classroom.  Based on the photos,  you didn’t seem to be the least bit fazed by the presence of the guests.

Thanks Malcolm.  I assume you are being sarcastic ;)  I was highly nervous.  My boss said she couldn’t tell.  I guess some things only one’s self knows!

No Damien, I was being serious.  You did a really good job of concealing your nervousness.

Thanks Malcolm!  I added you to my sidebar for the compliment as well as for knowing who the Alarm were ;)  Keep up the good blog!
