Prince Angers Retailers by Giving Album Away Free
Prince has always tripped me out. Especially now though: Post “symbol as name” days. He’s a devout (self-proclaimed anyway) Jehovah’s Witness so don’t bother sending him a fruitcake on his birthday . . . or any holiday for that matter. JW’s are not into holidays in case you didn’t know. I can only imagine the scene when he’s going door to door (as all JW’s are required to do) and some housewife answering the door only to get all giddy . . . accept the watchtower malarkey and then request an a capella version of “When Doves Cry.” I’ll bet he gets a lot of converts that way.
