Damien, I also read recently that it destroys bones and can be a factor in Osteoporosis… I drank Pepsi all day long in my younger years (ok, until just a few years ago) - and I do have some bone loss, but not full fledged Osteoporosis, last time I checked. Then there is the fact mechanics have used Coke to clean engine parts.

hardest thing I’ve had to do is give up diet sode *sigh* but now I’m down to maybe one or two a week only for special occasions

getting healthy sucks! But hey it’s the price we pay for living

katelynn: I’ll be 39 in June so the old casing doesn’t always respond as well as it used to. But when I was in my 20’s I never would have read this article, I thought I was going to live forever. I guess I’m looking for the harmful things more now.
Derek: LOL. I finally get what Green River is now! Hopefully it doesn’t translate into a green runs LOL.
Jessica: Yeah, that picture is the best! So wrong, it’s right.
Penelope: I won’t be assualting coffee anytime soon. It wpould make many of my "Coffee Vocab" posts hypocritical. I will say I’ve given it up for this week as a trial run. NOT EASY! It will take a lot for me to post against coffee.

I can’t believe that ad! Ok, yes, I can! My mom never let us have pop (that’s what we call it here) except on rare occasions, like our birthdays or something. She was smart, because I never developed a taste for it at all. I may drink pop with food maybe once a month. But, I am hooked on coffee. Same thing probably, just less sugar.

Lol, I guess picking up - and posting about - the Green River soda tonight wasn’t such a great idea!

We don’t drink any regular soda but I am sure the diet has just as many drawbacks from a health perspective.
