Thank You and Photo Greeting Cards

Photo Greeting Cards are the best at Christmastime and other holidays. When we get the onslaught in our mailbox every year I always get jealous of how great the glossy cards look. Sometimes you need to spring the bucks to get these for your family, they are a really traditional and effective way to keep in touch with your extended friends and family. Cards serve many purposes in my life. One other very effective purpose they serve is the “thank you card” such as the one you see above. It links to a great site for getting both online. If you’re like me, the convenience of buying things online is getting more and more a “requirement” in my house. I once had a Principal (boss) who always gave out handwritten thank you cards for various reasons. I got a few from him and I always appreciated it. It was a very humanitarian gesture I thought. Now, I try and do the same for the folks in my world. I go through more thank you cards than you can imagine. Knowing where to get them quick online and keeping my surplus is something I find quite useful in my family and career. In terms of social mores at work, you might call it my secret to being liked (or at least trying to be).
Do you make a point to always send thank you cards or do you know someone who does?

I am one of those people who sends thank you cards, and I am doing my best to teach my children to do the same.
I hate the trend these days of people not taking the time to do that. I can’t tell you how many weddings and baby showers I have attended in the past few years only never to hear a thing from the people.
I love the personal touch of photo cards these days, but tend to be a cheap gal too :)

I always send out Thank You cards too…probably more often than Birthday cards (which I am prone to forgetting). I buy mine online at twiddlestix.etsy.com because
a) they are handmade and that makes them more personal
b) they are gorgeous and unique
c) they cost a LOT less than the chains like Hallmark - you can get 4 cards for $7.00 at Twiddlestix.

@Penelope: Aren’t they so meaningful?
@Christy: Thanks for that. I am sure my readers will check it out!
