Knothole

I saw a cool thing on my walk today. A set of roses that had grown through a knothole. It reminded me of how life fights to survive. The bud on the plant knew to grow toward the sun for photosynthesis and food. Persistence pays off. The end result is a set of beautiful pink roses jutting from the fence. What is the energy that tells the bud what to do? I say love does it. The love I feel for my wife, my kids, my family, that might resemble it. Whatever it is, the something that pushed those roses gave me clarity and refreshment today in getting through my knothole.

It’s interesting how you have presented that rose, when most people would have walked past without taking a second look. It’s inspiring in the way you translate that into essential life-skills and dedication.

Thank you.  A lot of ideas come to me when I am walking.

That’s awesome! Definitely a stop and smell the roses moment. I hope that I would have noticed that too had I walked by!
