Updated “ABOUT . . .” Page: Your input requested
Some blog-defining stuff has happened in recent weeks so I updated my “About Damien” page. I think there are many ways to do an “about” page. If you have a second, please read my updated one and give me your thoughts? Is it fitting with Riley Central? Do I say too much? Not enough? More pictures? Thanks in advance . . .

Excellent. I think about pages are much more important than the attention many give them. I often go to them if I like a post. It can give a quick overview of what the blog is like (to decide if I want to grab an RSS feed) - unfortunately that often doesn’t help, but yours would.
I think it might be a good idea to provide some sample posts - link to a few popular posts or posts you think capture the essence of your blog. I’ve done that on my science and engineering blog and plan to on the others. On my blogs I also have a popular category to serve that purpose in general - if someone is somewhat interested they can quickly look through some popular posts and decide if they want to subscribe.
They are also nice to give regular subscribers a sense of the author - which yours does very well I think.
What’s going on with the look?! New layout from last week.
Scary…I see “Welcome back, Rosemarie!” What’s going on in here?!
I think it’s great, Damien!! I’ve been enjoying Party of Five, too!! Sarah is a great blogger!!
Jessica The Rock “Chi” :)
@John Hunter: Thank you so much! I will do that!
@Rosemarie: This is Hypereal Journal, a derivative of the Sandbox Theme for Wordpress. So far (and I know I always say this) it’s my favorite. Do you like the “cookies” thing that welcomes you back??? I love that!
@Jessica: Thanks for being so supportive! I think the About is good too! Thanks for the compliment on Sarah’s blog as well, I told her.
