[Miscellaneous Matters] holds the top spot this week! A Highlighted post of hers is one on shopping frugality, or as my wife would call, “being Bargain Betty.” I made the comment that I enjoy my “free” shopping for blog themes and plugins. A special thank you goes out to Rosemarie at [Miscellaneous Matters] and her spiritual and uplifting outlook on life. I’m blessed to have her around the place.

[Derek Semmler dot com] claimed second place commenter last week with some signature thoughtful and generous comments. A highlighted post of his is one about his blog’s anniversary stats, which by the way are staggeringly impressive. He reflects on what he’s learned after 6 months at his blog. Incidentally I made a post like that a while back when I turned the mi.... You know what they say about “great minds.” Derek also has a new blog job writing from a dad’s perspective which you will find linked in his anniversary post. Expect to see more highlights on this at Riley Central in the future. Way to go Derek!

[Tumbled Words] weighed in as third top commenter. A highlight on her blog last week was her interview on Blog Interview dot com. Humble as always, it’s a nice little read promoting her blog that I personally think is becoming a formidable WordPress blog in the Online Diarist genre!

[Party of Five] busted out this past week bringing her Technorati rating to an impressive 19 after only a few weeks at the game! Her highlight I’m citing is not a post, but her Sandbox layout “Magnolia.” Notice the beginning template and then compare it to the one you see now at [Party of Five]. I can attest it took work, since her drawing board is precisely 7 feet across the room from mine! After hours of Photoshop, she made that theme her own! Thanks for the comments this week Sarah! Your blog is really impressing me. (aside: I am a little frightened however that now as she is making dinner she is taking pictures of the process, could this be a post in the making??? Uh oh. Is nothing holy? he he)
