What to do for News Years Eve?

Hi. It’s New years and I am feeling broke and old. Can you help me(us) out? [this sounds as if I am begging in front of Wal-Mart]. Have any ideas for a family with 2 grownups and 3 kids??? We’ve got the stuff for burritos and if we want to drink we have some stuff in the liquor cabinet. The real need is for a cool idea that we can do with everyone. What do you do/are you doing tonight? Thanks for your time. [pulls tin cup back into cage] ;)

When the kids were real little and we had no real plans, we would play board games, watch movies and snack ourselves til we fell over! LOL Now for the last 9 or 10 years, the neighbors and I take turns hosting New Years. No driving, no need for babysitters, etc…we just all get together, play games, watch movies and snack til we fall over! Tonight isn’t even my turn to host so I just get to enjoy the party!
Thanks for those great suggestions. We’re watching Evan Almighty and Die Hard III Huge style projected on the wall. Fried Chicken and all manner of beverages. Board games? Hmmm talk to Sarah, I lack the patience. Have a great night with your family!
